There is no maximum. We regularly handle orders of 500 to 1,000 or more prints. Larger orders are processed in batches to maintain consistent quality, and we keep your photos in the exact order you send them.
No. Our flatbed scanners use a gentle cold-light source that produces no heat and no UV exposure. The print lies face-down on the glass for a few seconds per scan. There is no physical contact with the image surface beyond the glass itself.
Yes. If removing photos from the album risks damaging them, we can scan whole album pages instead. The individual images will be slightly less sharp than a direct photo scan, but it preserves photos that cannot be safely removed.
We scan at 600 DPI as standard, which produces files large enough to reprint at double the original size with no loss of sharpness. For most family photos, this is more than sufficient. Higher resolutions are available on request for specialist needs.
Yes. We scan them as they are, capturing whatever detail remains. Water-damaged photos often contain more visible information than you might expect once digitised. For an additional fee, we can attempt digital restoration to reduce the appearance of staining.
